I have searched and searched the forums and found a discussion in 2022 about smart search not indexing custom fields but no trace of a solution.
Now March 2024 - is it right that joomla 5 smart search still does not index custom fields? I would have thought that for most sites that need a search facility - need custom fields to be searchable too?
I see that each custom field has the option smart search: 'make searchable' - am I missing another setting somewhere?
